Mono: Recurrence is possible, depending on the status of your immune system. Flagyl is ok.

Yes,unlikely: Flagyl will not interfere with or aggravate your mono so take it as needed. Mono in adults will run it's course in 3 weeks in most and up to 3 months in 10%. The issue of a "chronic fatigue" syndrome originates from unrelated cause. Mono can reactivate at times in your life if your immune system is impaired.
