Can flagyl med be taken every year as a preventive measure from any intestinal bacterial infection?

No not at all: No it is not a good idea to take it the way you described.Flagyl is an antibiotic and is not to be taken unless prescribed by a doctor for appropriate infection.It is not to be taken to prevent intestinal infection
