Primary snoring?: Assuming it's primary snoring, and not sleep apnea (sleep study needed to rule this out), things you can do are: 1) maintain a normal bmi 2) make sure you can breath through nose 3) don't drink alcohol 4) avoid sleeping on your back 5) limit sedating medications.

Snoring: Be sure that the airway is clear- check for enlarged tonsils, adenoids, deviated septum etc. If overweight, losing weight not only increases the airway, the tongue shrinks as well. Avoid sleeping on your back ( sew a pocket into the back of a t shirt and put a tennis ball in it.) don't drink alcohol before bedtime. Wear a breath rite strip
