Difficult: Symptoms associated with gallbladder dysfunction and ulcer disease often overlap. Ulcer disease is more often associated with burning and the symptoms are not necessarily associated with eating. Gb problems are more often manifest with eating. If a patients symptoms are not typical for gb disease, an endoscopy is recommended to rule in or out an ulcer as the cause.
