Please ask that to: The doc who did your surgery as that doc knows you and how the surgery went and how your recovery went, without knowing your details i would say it is normal because if your problem was bad enough that you needed an abdominal hysterectomy , you can have pain for up to 4-6 weeks after but it should not be getting worse ! i rarely do them abdominally anymore so yours must have been a hard case.

Yes: You may require more than 3 weeks to recover fully from an abdominal hysterectomy. If your pain is gradually decreasing, it is probably normal.
