Swhat's one side effect of umbilical hernia surgery?

None: There may be mild discomfort early after surgery. Anesthesia has little transient side effects in recovery room. Once healed there would be no side effects except for a small surgical scar. Mesh may be used with the hernia repair but has no side effects once healed.
