Not related: Hernia in a stomach known as hiatal hernia is unrelated to abdominal ventral hernia. Venttal hernia is due to weakness in abdominal wall and hital hernia is a part of stomach herniating above the diaphragm. They are of several types and treatment is depending on the severity of symptoms.

Unclear : Not sure what the questionnis, but hernia repairs can fail. See your surgeon for an exam if you think this is the case. May also need a second opinion if your not satisfied with the visit.

Not sure: I'm not sure what you mean by a hernia in your stomach, but your stomach can herniate in to your chest, and is called a hiatal hernia. This is separate from a ventral her is, and you can have both at the same time. Hope this helps!
