Can some sort of tumor be mistaken for constipation or impacted poop on an x-ray?

Not really.: If you r talking about plain xrays they are not good for diagnosing tumors. Constipation/fecal impaction on the other hand can be seen on xrays. If theres a concern for tumor the best test is colonoscopy. Ct scans are more sensitive than xrays for differentiating between impaction and tumor.
