Doubtful: Scoliosis is usually not something that occurs overnight of course, so it probably is not related to the curvature of your spine. Scoliosis, if severe, can cause more back pain issues etc. I see you are on the fentanyl patch, which has a min side effect, like most narcotic pain meds of constipation. I would seek attention from a GI dr and get other causes than scoliosis of constipation checked.

Agree with Dr. M: Try to increase your intake of fiber and water. You may take a fiber laxative like Metamucil and drink enough water daily so that your urine is colorless. For the long term you may try to increase your intake of fiber foods.
