Therapy is private: You can call a psychologist, psychiatrist or other type of mental health professional and no one has to know you did. In fact, what you tell that doctor is confidential. You can feel secure that whatever you are feeling is confidential unless you are an imminent threat to yourself or someone else and a few other exceptions to confidentiality.
