See a psychiatrist: A psychiatrist can help you with depression -- both in evaluating possible causes and in treating it. Psychotherapy is an important part of this treatment, whether or not medications are necessary. Some psychiatrists do psychotherapy as well as prescribe medications -- but psychologists can provide psychotherapy without the medications. Be well.

Depression: Be sure to avoid highly processed food. Take enough high quality omega 3 supplements to get your AA/EPA ratio to between 1 and 3. I also recommend taking L-tyrosine 1,500 mg and 5-htp 150 mg twice daily on an empty stomach. You can combine these monoamine precursors with low dose SSRI medications, but keep the dose low. For example, Celexa or Lexapro 5-10 mg daily.
