Hang in there!: Long standing cystic conditions require long time medical management due to the various manifestations such as infection, painful pressures, and odor. Stay under the care of a good dermatologist and/or surgeon. Also consider skin hygiene. Keep nails very short. Do not bite nails, Clean all skin folds twice daily with mild soap and rinse and dry. Keep all toilets sterilized with Clorox.

He needs to see a...: dermatologist. First it needs to be determined if these truly are cysts and, if so, what type. There are some conditions that may seem like cysts but are actually solid masses. Obviously, until a correct diagnosis is made, the treatment isn't likely to work. The doctor should start with a good personal & family history & physical exam, then get a biopsy and microscopic evaluation. Best wishes

Multiple cysts: First of all we need to find out what type of cysts. What is origin of the cyst. If it is infectious cyst may be treated with medicine, sometimes need to be excised. See a Dermatologist if you have not seen one already. If it is like lipoma or neurofibroma they are benign tumors that is not going to respond to medicine, usually we recommend to leave them alone if does not cause any symptoms
