No cold meds: Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen for fever. Honey or warm apple juice for cough.

URI: Take her in the washroom and let her inhale the steam of a hot shower. At night let her sleep with a vaporizer. Raise her mattress so she is sleeping on an angle. Use salt water nose drops at least four times a day. Rub vaporub on her chest at night. I would not use juice because the sugars may cause diarrhea to add to her discomfort.
