A member asked:

Would an mri show if someone has benign positional vertigo?

Not directly usefull: An MRI might be done during the work up of a person suffering from vertigo. However, it would not be useful in establishing a diagnosis of benign positional vertigo. This diagnosis depends on findings on physical exam and a lack of test results that support other causes.
