Ice & light massage: The soreness is microscopic tears in connective tissue. Ice will stop the pain and promote healing. Ice feels cold, then painful for 1-2 mins., then numb. Get it numg for 10-15 mins. Light massage(roller stick) helps increase blood flow and promote healing.
