After: Why would you want all those food particles to be hanging around all day? Brush and floss them well to keep your mouth fresh through the morning.

Brush after you eat: It is better to brush after you eat breakfast, but wait a few minutes so that the your saliva reduces some of the acid and brings you back to neutral ph.

Hygiene regimen: Brush and floss AFTER you eat. Otherwise the food and plaque will remain on your teeth until the next time you brush and floss. Also, it's a good idea to rinse after snacks during the day, especially if you eat or drink sugary or sticky foods and liquids.
