When to get checked: Your eye and your vision are very important. The trauma from the stick that caused the wound may have also impacted your eye. Call in to your doc and to the eye doc for more detailed advise. Be well.

See ophthalmologist: In addition you could have a contaminated wound because of the wood. This can become infrcted and lead to serious complications. Seek ophthalmologist quickly to be proactive.
