Is it true that fat cells are melted by laser during smart lipo?

Smart lipo uses heat: To liquefy fat during the procedure. One of the complications of smart lipo is burning of the skin from the laser heat.

Some...not All: Smart lipo is a procedure where fat cells are indeed "melted" underneath the skin. Once these cells are melted they are suctioned out. To say that all of your fat cells are melted is an overstatement. The fat cells that are removed with not come back and the heat used to melt them actually provides a great deal of skin tightening, which is a benefit not seen with traditional liposuction.

In contact yes : The cells that come in contact with the laser do melt or burst, then can be liposuctioned. Skin tightening is a benefit of the smartlipo, but in the wrong hands can cause major irregularities, lumpiness , skin necrosis and scarring. Make sure that you explore the other types of lipo, : ie traditional, power assisted and vaser. Go to a board certified plastic surgeon and do your homework. Good luck.

SmartLipo is Laser: Smartlipo melts the fat with laser heat. Local anesthetic is necessary as it would hurt if not numbed.
