Yes: Tramadol and hydrocodone are opioids. However, you can use them together. Please don't drive or operate machines while taking them. Also, please follow your doctor instruction.

I would not: There is no reason to take two short acting medicines. I would take one or the other.
If you have had pain for a long time, i would talk a long acting medicine.

In theory: In theory it probably can - however i would not suggest going above the maxim dosage of 100mg every 6 hours - it can be dangerous!
