A member asked:

When tattooing your wrist, how much pain is to be expected?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It's worth it: This is a major life decision. If you are sure that this is something you want, then the pain itself is something you will cherish for a lifetime. Any doubts, don't do it. Hurts less that donating blood, even on the wrist (which being near bone will be more uncomfortable than some other sites). I'm a fan of these and have two myself. If you are sure -- then congratulations and good luck.
