Sedation: Yes, that is possible. But no sage physician would do that. The inherent risks outweighs the benefit.

Anesth for blood dra: Unless you have michael jackson level money it is unlikely that you will ever find someone willing to take the serious risk of giving inhaled anesthetics (gas) for a blood draw.
