Had a methacholine test. i reacted with cough & wheezing & tightness.only dropped 12% the whole time & went the whole 5 doses. dr says neg 4 asthma?

Tricky: The objective part of the test did not meet criteria, thus your test is considered as negative. But like any other test, there is a chance of what we call false negative test. The test also needs to be interpreted in light of other clinical information. You might have asthma, or you might not, that is a judgement that your doctor has to make.
