Chronic cough: There are many causes of chronic cough including asthma, post nasal drip from allergies and sinus infection as well as ge acid reflux. Burning in the chest can be a symptoms of acid reflux. Usual evaluations of chronic cough include lung function testing, chest x-ray and even visit to lung specialist such as pulmonologist or allergist.
