Have a foot exam...: Your stress fracture 9 months ago may have been more than just the bone injury. There are several soft tissue structures that overlay the top of the foot. There are tendons and ligaments which may have been damaged. Have the foot checked properly. See a podiatrist for a full foot exam. You had a bone scan and ct scan, but an MRI is a better diagnostic test to evaluate the soft tissue.

Support: If you had a stress fracture, it means you put unusual stress on one area of your foot. You most likely need custom insoles or orthotics.
