i had a small stress fracture in my fifth metatarsal in 9/17 from running. my foot is still sore when i walk too much on the top and bottom of my foot. i am still unable to run. is that normal? sore foot 8 months after stress fracture

Difficult healing : 5th metatarsal fractures can be very slow to heal. This is especially true for “Jones” fractures at the base of the bone. If you have ongoing symptoms you need to see your orthopedic surgeon or podiatrist
