Female, 58, inguanil symptoms 15+ yr ago, can the " umbrella" used to repair become dislodged? ab pain when bending over, now extending to back area.

Coukd be: Recurrent inguinal hernia or could be referred pain from a back injury or nerve irritation in the back. The mesh placed 15 + years ago is not likely to move or become dislodged, but sometimes a hernia can recur. Need to see a doctor for an evaluation.

Not likely: After 15 years. Show it to surgeon who does hernia repairs. It could be something else, such as colon cancer, so get it checked out.
