What causes swollen ankles ("cankles") after labour? didn't get swelling during pregnancy, only after.

Labour type?: How did you deliver? Cesarean? Vaginal deliver? It may play a role sometimes due to stirrups against the feet in vaginal delivery. Other than that, swelling can happen for a number of reasons but likely the stress from delivery and added weight (although not noticed during pregnancy) caused the swollen ankles.
