Difficult To Say: Prevacid (lansoprazole) is in the class called proton pump inhibitors. Without knowing your specific condition, it would be difficult to recommend or not recommend dosing every 2 or 3 nights. It takes 12 - 16 hours for these drugs to work after the first dose and based on the half-life of these drugs, you may not get relief without a dose every night. Of course, speak with your physician about any changes.
