Stretch before bed: The achilles is prone to stiffness and soreness. At night most of us sleep with our feet flexed downward, so the achilles tightens throughout the night. A 5-10 minute stretching session before bed can help. If you are desperate, there are "plantar fasciitis socks" which keep your foot up while you sleep. They look like funky elf shoes.

Stretch : But should have it checked. Achilles tendonitis may be cause or short achilles.. See your specialist to determine cause and treatment.
