More likely fracture: It's mostly likely fracture pain, however the swelling associated with a fracture can cause soft tissue pain in the area. Tendonitis usually is caused from overuse. Unless you were overusing those particular tendons, it's unlikely to be tendonitis. Hope this helps.

It's: Possible the fracture isn't completely headed yet or could be tendinitis you should see the treating doctor.
