A member asked:

What happens if a person eats / craves a lot of corn starch?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Carb excess...: Eating corn starch is similar to eating sugar, because corn starch is a simple carbohydrate that gets broken down into sugar as digestion occurs. So, one would get excessive carbs, which is not good for the body. Craving corn starch is harmful only in that it causes anxiety (due to craving something all the time), but is not so bad because the person is only craving, not eating.
