A member asked:

My son is 2 years and 5 months. he has a temperature of 37.9 with a runny nose. how long is it ecpected to last?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Varies: And depends upon what the cause is. If this is typical 'common cold' he should be better within a few days. If it continues beyond a week and he develops any other symptoms, particularly not feeding properly, sleeping excessively, irritability, nausea, vomiting, etc., then take him to see a pediatrician.
