PPD Test: You likely get a small skin reaction to TB test that is not large enough to be called positive in your case. It is a type of delayed hypersensitivity reaction due to immune cell infiltration and inflammation. You can put otc cortisone cream on the lesion 2-3 times a day to make it go away faster.

No worries: It will go away on its own. That is just a residual reaction.

Goes away on its own: The small bump from the TB test should go away on its own. Do not scratch or pick on it, as it might irritate the site & cause it to take longer to heal. In some cases it has taken a couple of weeks for it to completely disappear.
