Not necessarily: Best is to speak to your physician and have him listen to you, examine you, perhaps run some blood tests and you may need to see a neurologist especially since you have multiple locations of numbness. Sometimes it may be as easy as diabetes given the multitude of people who have it, but nothing beats a good history and exam by a physician.

Possibly: Possibly, if joint involvement is pressing or compressing nerves or if RA is complicated by nerve damage.
