A member asked:

Crushing but bearable pains up and down throracic spine. feels much better laying on back. pain & tingling all over back, random pains tingly/prickly sensations in limbs fingers/toes. no numbness, what could this be and from what areas or the spine?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Arthritis of the facet joints of the spine can cause the pain & a plain X-Ray of the thoracic spine can show this. However you're having other symptoms suspicious of spinal cord pathology & an MRI of the thoracic & lumbosacral spine would be more revealing. It's best to consult your MD or a neurologist for evaluation, testing & advice.
