my doctor prescribed 40mg nexium twice a day. is that safe? i have not had luck with prevacid or dexilant (dexlansoprazole).

Nexium (esomeprazole) safety.: Nexium is of the same class of drugs as are Prevacid and dexilant (dexlansoprazole). If you are not getting relief from those, you may have the same experience with nexium. Ask your doctor to refer you to a gastroenterologist to see if you need to have a endoscopy to look at your esophagus, stomach and duodemum to see why you are failed conventional therapy.
