Sure: Similar drugs. Continue as your doc recommended. Restart your Dexilant (dexlansoprazole) when you return from vacation (if MD had advised it).

Yes: Proton pump inhibitors are effective though some individuals swear of better responses to a particular inhibitor. No significant issues with substituting one for the other if no allergic reaction
