Not good idea: In general, one should not take alcohol with medications. If you have to take pepcid, (famotidine) i would be concerned for possible gastritis and sometimes even ulcers as alcohol can be a causative factor. Best is to avoid alcohol for a while and let your stomach calm down. If symptoms persist, you may need to see a gastroenterologist. Of course, your liver will also thank you.

Drug interactions.: I agree with Dr. Kessler. Although the two do not directly interact (REF: https://www.drugs.com/interactions-check.php?drug_list=1066-603,1034-14582), the GI condition that the Pepcid is treating could worsen.
