Blood per rectum: If you see fresh red blood after a bowel movement, you need to be seen by a physician. Bleeding can come from hemorroides (h), lesions of the rectum or distal colon. If h are not the cause, you may need to have a colonoscopy to find its cause and arrive at a cure. Good luck.
