Let dr know asap: You have intestinal bleeding. Continue to see the GI dr, as you need to have the source identified asap. If you have any weakness, tiredness or signs you are getting anemic from blood loss, than go to nearest ER. The bright red signifies it is probably from the lower intestinal area and a colonoscopy will be the likely diagnostic test you need. Best wishes.
