Should be tolerable: You can always ask for sedation, which will make the process very easy & very smooth for you. As an oral surgeon, & an "expert" on wisdom teeth, I have been humbled by fully erupted wisdom teeth before - where they may appear simple, but they turn out to be difficult. Best to have oral surgeon perform, who is ble to provide you with whatever you need (oral sedation, nitrous oxide, IV sedation).

Discuss: Discuss your concerns with your dentist before treatment. Fully erupted teeth are sometimes easier extractions but regardless you should not feel pain. As long as you are adequately anesthetized the only sensation you should feel is pressure. There are medication options to help with anxiety so talk to your doctor before treatment.
