Lungs: Once the clot leaves the legs depending on size will end up in lungs or if big then heart.

Lungs: Emboli can start in your legs and they will get trapped in the blood vessels of your lung. Rarely will a emboli go through an abnormal opening in your heart and travel to your brain or some other part of your body.
