Stretch and walk: Stretching and walking are the best for low back pain radiating to the leg. Lie on your back with one leg flat and bring the other knee up to your chest and hold for 10 seconds, then alternate legs. Repeat that 3 times. Do this every day. Try to walk at least 5 minutes 3 times a day. Ice and heat can help. Drink adequate fluids. If you tolerate them, you can take acetaminophen and/or naproxen.
