Would it be unusual for teenagers to feel fatigue?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Common problem: Teens are often more interested in maximizing their day than paying attention to basic health and nutrition. While fatigue can be a sign of illness, i find many have one of several destructive habits. Most teens need a 9 or more hours of sleep/d many try to get by on 7. Many skip breakfast or grab high carb junk food. Some never exercise. Improvements in these 3 areas help most get back on track.
