Uncommon: Depending upon the study, the incidence in adults varies from1 per 1000 to up to 20 per 1000. The data is clouded a little by the fact that it is -chronic- and so some people probably get counted more often and since the symptoms vary significantly, some who meet the criteria do not get counted as they dismiss their symptoms.
