Not yet: Retinal detachment is a peeling away of the retinal layer from the back wall of the eye, usually due to a tear. There are no studies, that i know of exploring the use of stem cells to treat this condition. Stem cells are being explored as a possible treatment for inherited and age-related macular degeneration.
