No: Unfortunately there is no cure. There is research going on to identify the genetic defects and in retinal transplantation.

Not yet: This is one of the hopes for future development and research. Stem cell research got a bit behind when the bush administration banned it for non-scientific reasons, but current researchers are back on track and we are all hopeful.
