Won't last: Have a dentist repair it for a nominal fee. The other adhesives will fail relatively quickly, and at the most inopportune time.

Definitely not: Self repair generally make it more difficult and more expensive to properly repair the broken tooth. It is a lot like the guy who does his own electrical work. When it goes bad, it goes really bad. Do yourself a big favor and have it professionally repaired, the proper materials are just not available to the general public.

A word of advice: I have found over the years that when patients try to adjust or fix their own partial or full dentures, not only does it not hold, but they often get themselves in more trouble and are sorry they every tried! what often is a simple fix, becomes a more complicated and more costly repair to those adventurous patients.

Depends: Crazy glue is better as a temporary fix but it is not a permanent fix.

Denture repair: Hi, try to put it in place and see if it goes in just perfect. If it does, you can try to use some cyanoaccrylate (super glue) as a temporary mean. Be sure you have the denture sitting in water for 10 mins after the repair. Hot water is better (not boiling). That will help to wash out the monomer of the glue and will reduce the risk for irritation if it touches the gums. Then see your dds for fix.

No: These products are not made for internal use and are toxic and dangerous, plus they will fail due to moisture. See your dentist about your repair.

Bad idea: It might work for a time, but will complicate proper repair by dental lab. See your dentist and get it fixed properly. This often happens when the dentures are older and the teeth have worn down. They no longer have the proper thickness for strength and frequently have excessive forces on the teeth due to this wearing out and shifting of the bite. Good luck.

Denture Repair Kit: is available from Walgreen, Target and CVS. This type of repair is generally easy to TEMPORARILY fix your self. However, a professional repair with denture acrylic by a dentist is the best long term repair.
