Help please! is corsodyl is good mouth wash to treat gingivitis?

It is good: Corsodyl's active ingredient is chlorohexidine gluconate, an antibacterial, it is sold in the usa under different names of which Peridex (chlorhexidine gluconate) is the most recognized. Gingivitis needs to be treated first by a professional dental cleaning because corsodyl will not remove the tartar already present on the gum line of the teeth. One drawback of chlorohexidine gluconate is the fact that it stains the teeth.

An adjunct: The rinse is an adjunct to treatment. First, a dentist needs to clean the plaque and deposits off your teeth to start the healing process.
