Reduce Carb Intake: Reduce the fat intake and eat foods which are low in cholesterol. High triglyceride levels can result from eating an excess of fatty and sugary foods, being severely overweight, or drinking too much alcohol. By cutting back on alcohol and fatty-sugary foods, as well as exercising, can help decrease triglyceride levels.
